Lucky & Blessed Fishing is proud to expand our inclusive outdoor programming to serve veterans and veteran groups throughout Maryland.
​

Our veteran program uses fishing and time outdoors to create opportunities for connection, recreation, and community in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether someone has years of fishing experience or has never picked up a rod, our goal is simple: get outside, connect with others, and enjoy time on the water.

Veteran Fishing Experiences

LABF works with veteran organizations and community partners to provide fishing and outdoor experiences designed around the needs of each group.

Programs may include:

• Guided shoreline fishing

• Fishing instruction and equipment

• Small-group fishing outings

• Peer connection and social opportunities

• Outdoor recreation and nature experiences

• Environmental and conservation activities

• Group events and seasonal programs​

• Boat and Charter Excursions

• Kayak Fishing w/ our partners Heroes on the Water of MD!

LABF provides fishing equipment, instruction, program staff, and support so participants can focus on enjoying the experience.

More Than Fishing

Fishing gives people a reason to slow down, spend time outside, learn something new, and connect with others. For veterans, our programs are designed to create a welcoming space where participants can build relationships with fellow veterans and community members while enjoying the physical and mental wellness benefits of outdoor recreation.

There is no experience necessary. We welcome veterans with different abilities and experience levels and work with partner organizations to make each outing as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

Partner With LABF

​We welcome partnerships with veteran organizations, VA programs, community groups, nonprofits, and other organizations serving veterans.

​

Programs can be scheduled as individual fishing outings or developed into recurring seasonal partnerships.
